Leader of the Practice since its inception in 1989.

Louise is committed to the creation of distinctive quality design that encompass local traditions and techniques. Impassioned by ideas and buildings that reflect and contribute to our environment, she seeks to distil this vision into the work of the practice.

Louise was appointed as a Secretary of State representative to Exmoor National Park Authority 1996-1999 and is a registered Architect Accredited in Building Conservation. She has considerable experience in working with Listed Buildings, including churches, private houses and the refurbishment of the Simonsbath Sawmill, a Heritage Lottery Funded project, and has developed a good working relationship with English Heritage, the Exmoor National Park Authority and other local planning authorities in Somerset and Devon.
