The brief for this project was to replace two existing temporary classrooms with two permanent classroom spaces, meeting exemplary sustainable standards. The replacement needed to open up oportunities for interaction with the existing school playground, as well as introducing the existing green area around the classrooms into the recreation and teaching area.

Louise Crossman Architects, in collaboration with Swan Paul Partnership Landscape Architects, produced a competition entry for the scheme, aimed at creating lively, colourful and engaging spaces, linking the internal and external spaces of the school and creating opportunities for exploration and excitement at child’s height.
